April 6, 2012

The Rural Music Project, launched in 2011 to bring well-known performers to smaller communities, continues this month with another notable East Coast act.

Singer-songwriter Terry Kelly will play 11 shows starting on April 18 at the Reserve Mines Fire Department and wrap up on May 19 at the Dragonfly Cafe in Lower South River, near Antigonish.

The tour will take the man behind In My Father’s House and the Remembrance Day tribute A Pittance of Time across Cape Breton and to towns like Canso (Dockside Grill, April 28) and Sherbrooke (St. James Church, May 18).

This is the second outing for the Rural Music Project, which began in December with the successful tour of Noel: A J.P. Cormier Christmas with the Elliot Brothers
